Pride in Motion: ZSM Sports Regalia
Nothing captures belonging like wearing the official ZSM tracksuit or T-shirt. More than apparel, the regalia represents
unity, discipline, and shared identity within the School community.
As one new student shared, “The regalia makes us feel part of the ZSM family.” |
Plan Early. Succeed ConfidentlyStrong planning is the foundation of academic success. Key 2026 milestones include: - Lectures begin: 9 February
- Mid-semester break: 6 - 10 April
- Examinations: June & November
- Holiday breaks: July & December
Saving these dates now helps avoid last-minute pressure later in the year. |
Respect Online: Cyberbullying Awareness
ZSM reaffirmed its commitment to a safe and respectful digital environment, reminding students that cyberbullying
is a criminal offence under Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act. Cyberbullying includes: - Threatening or abusive messages
- Spreading false information
- Sharing embarrassing images
- Online impersonation
Penalties may include fines, imprisonment, or both, reinforcing the responsibility to use technology ethically and report harmful behaviour. Because at ZSM, respect extends beyond the classroom — it lives online too. |

ZSM Joins the National Clean-Up Campaign
Students and staff proudly participated in the national clean-up initiative, working together to promote environmental responsibility
and civic pride alongside communities across Zimbabwe. This monthly campaign: - Promotes a clean and healthy environment
- Encourages responsible waste management
- Builds a culture of shared community pride
ZSM’s involvement reflects its broader mission of developing responsible professionals who contribute positively to society. |
Strengthening Partnerships That Shape Futures
ZSM welcomed representatives from Rapid Capital Resources and Kavango Resources Zimbabwe,
reinforcing collaboration between education and industry. The visit highlighted ZSM’s role as a
hub for knowledge, skills development, and innovation in mining training. |
As lectures begin, remember: Stay curious, Get involved, Ask questions and Plan ahead.
Because at the Zimbabwe School of Mines, success is not accidental — it starts with intention and preparation. Until next week, keep your momentum strong. |
