It has been over a year since we have been grappling with COVID 19, our actions together have helped stem the tide, both on campus and in the greater part of the country. With all this in mind, we’ve been cautiously optimistic for some time following the leadership of the nation — we’ve embarked upon a phased approach to returning our campus, we are looking forward to seeing our student community staying safe. This crunch week when schools re-open, we are also issuing new masking guidance consistent with the recommendations and requirements of the Government nationwide.
Effective immediately, our guidance will be as follows:
- Masks are mandatory inside campus buildings and outdoors.
- Everyone who will be coming to school is expected to be fully vaccinated and social distancing should be observed deligently.
As we have done since the beginning of the pandemic, the school will continue to monitor conditions and act accordingly in line with the guidance of the state officials as those continue to evolve. We have also maintained our robust testing capabilities, including the temperature testing and hand sanitization at the entrance into ZSM as well as at several strategic places within campus to keep up the fight against the pandemic.
Remember COVID is real, it is deadly, STAY SAFE, MASK UP, that is the mantra.
